EVERY CHILD
DESERVES TO
HAVE BOTH
PARENTS
IN THEIR LIVES.
JFESP Background
The Jews For Equal Shared Parenting (JFESP) group was co-founded by Betzalel Rothstein & Max Shemesh. They initially started with a WhatsApp group of half a dozen alienated fathers simply trying to support each other through their respective pain and challenges as alienated parents. After going through their respective experiences and learning of other Jewish parents that had been relegated to weekend visitors, or even worse estranged from their children for several years they decided to band together to effect change in the current Family Court and Beit Din systems.
JFESP Mission Statement
OUR GOALS:
-
Our goal at Jews For Equal Shared Parenting is to have equality between the Father and Mother when they go into family court or Beit Din so that the child has equal access to both fit parents.
-
To bring to light Parental Alienation, the hostile, aggressive parenting tactic by one parent toward the other.
OUR CAUSE:
We believe that all Jewish children should have the right to receive the love, nurturing, guidance, support and affection of two loving parents. The greatest gift we can give our children is our time and attention.
It is up to all of us to stand up for our children, advocate for them, and keep our promise to them to protect them and limit potential emotional damage from an abusive legal process at a time when they are most vulnerable.
Ask yourself … In regards to protecting this most basic right of our children, if not now, when? We thank you in advance for your support.
